Making 'Grosser' Bump Maps...

Using a scan I made of some...Paper ribbon(?) I made a lovely bump map from it. Here's what I have so far:


The next images are based on this delightful video Phil sent me :D

 





It's getting there! I'm struggling with colour atm but it's definitely getting squishier :D

    am loving the creativity on here! That's exactly the thing - 'seeing' solutions to textures 'out there' as opposed to 'on the bloody internet'!

    Awesome, thanks! I was really surprised how effective it was! :D
    I'm trying tissue paper at the moment and it isn't looking so great but give me a little while longer and I'll have something interesting :P
