New Composition Experiments...

I chose to work with the sunken cauldron idea from number 9 of the new thumbnails, and here's what I've got so far:








Not bad. I played around with some images of octopuses to see how their patterns would look and some work really nicely, especially on the wood in the second image. It's getting there but I still need to work on the colours and what else will be in the scene such as: will there be little phosphorescent fish floating around to act as eerie little lanterns, is there going to be a lot more bits and pieces of all the things she's collected on the floor or would they be in piles? I'm not too sure yet but I'll definitely be trying these out next.
