I took a selection of colours from the characters and placed the logo against the various backgrounds:

I like the two Natty backgrounds best, although I do quite like Alistair's powerful purple too :D
ooh - I like lots of these, but my faves are Natty blue, Clarissa Pink and Natty Cream - you might want to now combine these with the line-up of your characters - but, if you're making a set of cards, maybe all these colours will become viable as potential backgrounds...
ReplyDeletethe only thing I keep coming back to however, is the filled in gaps in some of the letters - which I like, but I'd like to see some versions when the background colour appears through them as well.
I think it's because the e and a of 'dream' is a bit lumpy because they're not so clearly delineated because of the 'gaps' being as dark as everything else...
