Final Animation: Second Draft...

I've added the new spiral scene and him falling into the horizontal stripe scene from the previous chasm one:

  1. Hey Molly: Chasm scene - better, but I think you should stagger the order in which the pillars fall away, so not all at once, and leaving the one with the character on it until last, which then suddenly gives way - this way, you can have your character reacting to the collapse of the surrounding pillars - looking around, looking shocked etc. and then - whoosh - his pillar falls away; it will build in much more tension this way. What do you think?

    1. I think you're right! I wanted him to have a second of realisation before he falls and I think that would be the best way to do it. I'll get on it now :D

  2. also - did you consider adding more intercuts into the spiral scene? I think it will add urgency and panic, having some more 'subjective' shots; that new shot you've already added (as he runs from the camera, with the camera nice and low) works so nicely that I think it opens up new opportunities throughout... Now, I don't want to 'flood' you with alternate suggestions, but I think it's definitely worth exploring - what with you being so far ahead and everything! :)

    1. Oh I definitely will! I just thought I'd get the changes I'd made previously (him falling from one scene to the next) in there and then after I've finished the chasm scene I'll have a go at adding those intercuts and upload version 2.5 :D
