I'm trying to watch more films at the moment, I watch a lot anyway, but I'm aiming to watch ones that I wouldn't have thought of myself. I won't bother listing what I have and haven't seen, so any suggestions as to what anyone thinks is important or effective visually or story-wise, anything interesting that I could learn from would be great!
Any suggestions are much appreciated! :D
I watched a film called 'Street Trash' last night. Alan recommended it to me a while it back. It's about homeless people who melt and explode when they drink this super strong liquor. Pretty important stuff.
ReplyDeleteCitizen Kane
The Birth of a Nation
Intolerance
Bonnie and Clyde
Rebel Without a Cause
Psycho
Modern Times
The Great Dictator
The Searchers
Easy Rider
On the Waterfront
Viva Zapata
To Kill a Mockingbird
The Asphalt Jungle
The list could on and on but these are all 'important' or 'great' American films.
Excellent, thanks! That's plenty to be getting on with :D

The man with two brains
Kind Hearts and coronets
The intro photography especially to 'The Fall' I think is brilliant, maybe check that out too if you like, but the film is good too
Oh cool! Cheers Nat! I've heard they re-released kind hearts and coronets recently so it'd be really cool to see. Thanks a lot! :D
