More Cauldron Structure Experiments...

I took a few of my mirrored ink images and tried to mimic some of the shapes they had:

They're getting there! I like different elements in each image, such as the ceiling covered in skulls and bones in the second attempt, but I also like the curved shape around the cauldron in the final image and the web/vine-like seaweed holding up a chain of bones in the first. I'll try combining some of the successful shapes, and maybe a few more structure designs based around other ink images. Interesting times for sure! :D

  1. hey molly - you've got some nice stuff going on here - and I like how spindly and complex everything is - but I was wondering if the cauldron might be a huge clam shell, or based on sea-life shapes or similar?

    1. Hey Phil! Thanks, I really like wehre it's going at the moment! Yeah I thought about that. One of the cauldron shapes in the previous post was based on a large spikey shell I found. I wasn't sure whether the pot would be something she'd found from a wreck or something from her surroundings like a big shell, so I'll have a few more experiments with different sea-life shapes to see what comes out next :D
