2 Birthday Presents!..
I've been making things!
Firstly, I was lucky enough to be commissioned to make another Hare as a birthday gift for a customer. Here she is in her new home:
The other present was for Jon's birthday. I wanted to try and make a figure of his engineer illustration:
Here are the results:
I'm pretty chuffed with how she turned out and I think he liked her too!
Onwards! :D

A Few Bits & Bobs...
A couple of sculpted things:
The Birthday Otter - a gift for a friend.
Tiny Birdies - Because miniatures fascinate me at the moment.
I've also just received my copy of 'Children's Writers' & Artists' Yearbook 2014'.
Wow! I read a couple of sentences and already learned a huge amount. It helps with everything from generating your first ideas, all the way through to whether you need an agent or not. It's truly excellent (thanks Phil!) and I've already started writing a few rough 'Dream Cleaners' stories. It's exciting to be excited about them again, and I look forward to what comes next :)

Dachsusaurus Lives!...
He's finally all painted and alive!
He stands quite nicely but I definitely learnt a lot about making a better armature for the next one.
A bit of a close up. I tried to add a little extra texture with the paint, just to make sure he wasn't so flat colour-wise.
He's pretty darn cute if I do say so myself! Now back onto my Halloween project! :)

The Dachsusaurus!..
I was inspired after looking at posable art dolls by artists such as Magweno and Wood Splitter Lee, so I made a little armature myself:
*If you're interested yourself, you can find one of Magweno's many tutorials (and the one I'm using) here*
After seeing the picture Phill Hosking said he looked like a dinosaur/Dachsund and as that was way cooler than anything I could come up with, I ran with it:
It'll be adding fur and ears of some sort, then painting next. But he's pretty darn cute so far! :D

Bits and Bobs...
Just a little post of what I've been up to recently:
I've also been in contact with Samaritans about using my Proportion animation and it looks promising! More news on that when I have it :)
