To improve my 2D animation skills I've taken to teaching myself the Puppet Tool in After Effects. Here's my first attempt:
He's a Loomer, a character that I'm working on and I thought he'd be a good first try. After getting a bit more confident I took an old character to work with:
A familiar face from a previous summer project, he's much more successfully animated than my first one. Next one should be a good'un :)

wow, Molly - amazing to see that fellow move - I look forward to more - the puppet tool seems to be pretty amazing!

DeleteHe's in a few parts, but the results I've seen with a flat image are really impressive. It's been really fun to learn and hopefully may lead to something good this week too ;)
