Flossy Updates...

Here we have nature, demure Flossy:

Here we have the first version of disco Flossy in the dark:

I quite like her! I've made sure that the bright colours match the natural ones too, but I thought that the bright pink was much more powerful than the blue that I had previously conceptualised.

Let me know what you think though! :D

  1. Great last composition.. I've got to say though I did prefer Flossy when she was a sheep because I feel I understood her character more looking at her , with her shying away under all the wool.

I don't quite understand her now as character archetype. But I know how far you have come from that last design, and you've produced some really amazing renders.

    The rainbow colorway is gorgeous.

    1. Thanks Alex! :D

Yeah I understand what you mean, I too loved the original sheep Flossy, it was just that I couldn't quite represent her as well as I'd like and that meant she was a weak design and least desirable as a toy. Hopefully though once I get her rigged and posed the old sheepish Flossy will come through again for you :)

  4. Hey Molly :) Well done... and just a teeny tiny observation; to me at least it seems a bit odd that her ears don't have a slight glow - even if they take up a bit of the pink and the yellow that connects with their bases - more of a blush around the base that tapers off? I could be wrong about this, and I'm happy to be shouted down by the masses who are more in touch with their 'cute, glowing toy-ness' than me! The other thing (god, I'm horrible) is just, perhaps to nuance Flossy's mouth and eyebrows/eye shape - finding shapes there that will make her look more obviously coy?

    1. Hey Phil! I'm glad you like her, I'll definitely try a little glow on her ears. The glow is coming from the 'fur' so it would make sense for there to be at least a slight glow on her outer ear so I'll try that tomorrow. As for the face, I'll be making a more coy blendshape once the texturing and riggings done. I may look into making her cheeks a little fuller to help with that too, if that's what you meant?
