Okay so I have my pose and this is what I've got so far for the looks of it:
I'm gradually getting there I think. I'm a bit stumped as to what the background should be. I was thinking about just making this one a smidge darker but keeping it generally the same.
I've made it look a tiny bit more realistic but now I need to work on the details like sorting our that weird bit where the stomach is, the colouring and make it look a but more sad. I'm trying to go for a "No I've been rumbled" look but I don't know if I have that yet...
Any guidance is more than welcome please!
Looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteMaybe pick out the darker edges with a lighter colour like Phil showed us on our 2nd or 3rd photoshop day, might make the darker areas pop out :)
In terms of background - right now, with those 2 circles of light and the pose, it feels as if your hybrid self is on the run - making a break from the laboratory! Personally, I'd keep the background relatively impressionistic so as to keep our focus on you/it. Maybe just embolden the existing background with something more punchy and atmospheric; consider too, putting a floor line in - something to convince us that you/it is actually standing on a surface - don't forget your shadow too, to properly wed you to the surroundings.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant thank you, I'll get on that :D
